LOCAL: Phil Fresh
Phil Fresh is an emerging artist/producer from Sydney’s Inner-West. Growing up to influences of pop and rap, Fresh started producing beats at 16 and after collaborating on singles such as Pokari’s “Love No More” and Kwame’s “Sonic Dash”, released his own ambitious conceptual album titled “Excursions of Love”: a story involving two friends (Rocky and Angelo) in a love triangle who end up vying for the same girl (Peaches).
Mozaick Records and Phil Fresh present: "Nice Guys" Official Music Video. Following the successful release of his debut album "Excursions of Love", Sydney artist and producer Phil Fresh is set to unveil long-awaited visuals for the album's love triangle storyline in the form of a Valentine's Day music video for the track "Nice Guys".
Set in a pastel pink 50's diner (Inner West's Daisy's Milkbar) - this dreamy music video is delivered from the perspective of Angelo: breathing to life the characters and storyline listeners are familiar with from Fresh's debut album.
Speaking to the camera, Angelo (Phil Fresh) promises his "future girl" (Peaches) wherever she may be, that he is there for her no matter what with open arms. It is not revealed until the end of the video however, just how close his dream girl really is.
Directed by Fresh himself, shot by Rewiti Brown of Risers Media and with costume styling by Asia Carino, this video features a couple of familiar faces in soul singer Mel Bailey, longtime collaborator Pökari and illustrator Martina Martian.
